We coordinate the secure transfer of the cremated ashes from the family, funeral home or crematory. Depending on the circumstances, transfer may be arranged through approved transportation methods or personal pickup. The ashes remain separately identified and are never combined with those of another family. 

Yes. Families may choose from scheduled memorial destinations already offered by Eternal Legacy Service or request a private memorial at another meaningful location. We research the location and determine what permissions, access requirements or restrictions may apply before the memorial is confirmed. 

Yes. Accompanied memorials are available by request at select destinations. Families who prefer not to travel may choose an unaccompanied memorial and follow the journey through real-time tracking while receiving video, GPS documentation and photographs afterward. 

Partner pricing and retail structure can be developed around each funeral home’s operating model and compliance requirements. Depending on the arrangement, the funeral home may incorporate the memorial into its service offering or work with Eternal Legacy Service as an outside provider. Final pricing and compensation are agreed upon before services are offered to families. 

Depending on the memorial package, families may receive a Scattering Moment video, GPS documentation, Memorial Certificate and professional photographs of the memorial location. Real-time journey tracking is also available for many unaccompanied memorials. 

Yes. Eternal Legacy Service carries $1 million in liability coverage and maintains applicable business and professional licensing. Founder Stan Reese is licensed by the State of Alaska for the care and disposition of human remains.
